Taylor Berghuis
Pastor/Elder
Taylor has been married to Sarah since 2016. He completed a Master of Divinity degree from The Master’s Seminary in 2023, where he also was on staff. Prior to coming to Hope, he and Sarah served in the college and young adult ministry of their church. In his free time he enjoys hiking and traveling with Sarah, as well as welcoming people in their home.
Alex Racheru
Elder
​Alex and his wife Emma have 2 children. They moved from Romania to Ireland, and have been a part of Hope Church since the very beginning. Alex has a big heart for the local church and can be found serving in many capacities, from behind the scenes administration, to leading a small group.
Stephen Ebichondo
Elder
Stephen, along with his wife Lucy, and their 3 children, moved to Ireland from Kenya. Stephen is very passionate about prayer, and will take any opportunity given to pray with fellow believers. He has been involved in several ministries, and currently leads a small group.
Dan + Simona Beloiu
Hope Bible Club
Dan and Simona graduated from Word of Life Bible Institute in Argentina. They were full time missionaries for 7 years working with youth in camps, Bible Clubs, and outreach events to reach teens for Christ. They have been married for 16 years and have 2 boys.
Elizabeth Eziashi
Children's Ministry
​Elizabeth is passionate about Christ and Education. Elizabeth enjoys teaching the message of the cross to children in a language adapted to their age. She has worked in education for over four years, notably as a primary school teacher in France. She is now at Hope Bible Church where she devotes her experiences and heart to serve towards the children's ministry. There, she is prayerful that the harvest is plentiful.
Otniel + Marta Trifu
Music Ministry
Otniel is originally from Romania and has made Ireland his home together with his wife, Marta, and their two young children. They are both deeply committed to serving at Hope Church, where they lead the Music Ministry. Responding to the Lord’s call to worship, Otniel considers it a great privilege to lead the congregation in offering praise through psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs to our Lord and Saviour each Sunday morning. He regards this ministry as both a sacred responsibility and a profound honour.
Aderval Mendonça
Men's Ministry
Aderval and his wife Synthia, along with their two sons, moved from Brazil to Ireland. Aderval is very passionate about a man's role as a follower of Christ, especially in the context of the church and the family.
Maria Collison + Marta Trifu
Women's Ministry
Maria has been married to Brendan for 28 years and is blessed by God to have two daughters, Julie (19) and Caitlin (12). She is originally from Roscrea, Co Tipperary but has been living in Naas since 1996. She seeks to honour our Saviour in everything she does by His power. She is delighted to be serving in Hope Church by leading the Women’s Ministry with Marta and being part of Hope Church Kids Ministry. May God be glorified in everything we do to build up the body in Hope Church.
Marta is happily married to Otniel, and together they are blessed with two wonderful children. Originally from Romania, they now joyfully call Ireland home and love being part of the life and community of Hope Church. Marta has a deep passion for serving and encouraging the women in our church to grow spiritually, to become more Christ-like, and to live as godly women in today’s world. She counts it a privilege to partner with Maria in leading the Women’s Ministry, supporting and inspiring others in their walk with the Lord.
