To Glorify God by Teaching The Gospel Of Jesus Christ and by Making Disciples Of All Nations
We were created to glorify God alone and the best way to do that is to teach the Gospel of His Son, Jesus Christ, with our lives. We believe the disciples of Jesus Christ should minister to one another in the local church and they should purposefully and intentionally be making disciples of Jesus.
It’s not about one or a small number of pastors/leaders bearing total responsibility to care for the entire congregation and to be making disciples. It’s about all of Jesus’ followers using their God-given spiritual gifts to provide mutual ministry and to make disciples in the context of the vibrant and strong local church (Ephesians 4:11-12).
We believe it's important for our church to know what we value and understand the vision for our future.
The Gospel of Jesus Christ is the vital center of life and affects every part of life. We learn, apply, share, and teach the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Genesis 3:15; Job 19:25-27; Isaiah 1:18;
Luke 24:44-47; 2 Corinthians 4:5-6
As we are saturated with the truth of the Gospel, we express moment by
moment our dependency on Him through prayer.
Jeremiah 29:12-13; Psalm 18:6;
Ephesians 6:18; Philippians 4:6; Jude 20
God intends for His people to live as a community. We show His love in community by developing close, personal relationship with each other.
Ecclesiastes 4:9-12; John 13:35; Acts 2:42-47; Romans 12:9-13; Galatians 3:28-29
Jesus sent us into the world to make disciples. We live our calling, as Christ-followers, investing our lives into making disciples of all nations.
Matthew 28:19-20; Ephesians 4:11-16;
Acts 2:42-47; Romans 12:3-8
God wants to see the earth filled with people, reconciled to Him through His Son, living all of life for His glory. We devote our lives to reach all people and nations with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Isaiah 42:6; Matthew 28:19-20;
Our Church Government
Hope Church is committed to the Bible’s teaching that men who hold the offices of Elder and Deacon are to oversee various functions of the local church. The Bible’s teaching on the subject of two church offices is found in 1 Timothy 3:1-16 and Titus 1:5-9. Although there are three terms used for the offices of the church: bishop, elder, and deacon, analysis of these terms indicate that bishop and elder are used interchangeably.
Hope Church values children and believes whole-heartedly in the importance of nurturing their spiritual and emotional well being. We believe that each child is a gift from God and each child will be treated with dignity, love, and respect, while in our care. Click the button below to read our safeguarding statement.
